This month we meet another of the fabulous growers: Marika Saliba of Glenbernie Family Farms. Marika and her husband John found their dream plot of land 16 years ago in Kurmond, located in the Hawkesbury region which they both love and know so well. Since then, this hardworking duo have grown a variety of vegetable crops and grazed cattle. In 2021, they decided to take advantage of Marika’s passion for flowers by establishing Glenbernie Family Farms…

 

MEET THE FLORIST: HELEN WU

Ah, November! This month sees the glorious blossoming of jacarandas, those magnificent trees that light up the urban landscape with enthusiastic explosions of the most luscious purple-lilac colour you can imagine … they really are a sight to behold! As is the work of our featured florist this month, Helen Wu, owner of Sydney-based floristry studio Lime Tree Bower. Helen has a real way with colour and creates wild and artistic arrangements intended to inspire happiness and bring smiles to the face of her clients.
